Sazneo provide ‘smarter group communications’.
Looking to offer the next generation of group communications products to the wider world. Sazneo is unlike conventional messaging systems that required both a hardware infrastructure and software licensing to allow messaging within an organisation.
Sazneo offers a networked messaging system while removing the barriers to entry of cross-company IT. Sazneo delivers group messaging as a SaaS platform. Allowing an organisation to securely discuss things internally and also include external representatives in the conversation where needed. This naturally leads to an almost viral effect of user adoption as external companies are bought on board.
How we helped
Sazneo already had a comprehensive vision of how they wanted the system to function.
Cobalt Storm used this vision as a starting point in the MVP workshop. During this workshop we discussed openly each of the desired features to determine whether they would be needed in a minimal product.
Do we need this and would people be upset if we removed it?
The purpose of the workshop was to strip the product back to the bare minimum to get users onboard and engaged. Once users were on the system we then used them to prioritse features or request new features that didn’t appear in the original vision or release.
The results
Cobalt Storm delivered an MVP workshop that resulted in a focused development plan around the subset of features required for deployment. Cobalt Storm then undertook the software development project that allowed Sazneo to enter into a beta phase.
Sazneo worked with Cobalt Storm during the 5 month development and testing phase which resulted in a successful beta. In week 1 of the beta launch 27 companies were introduced and now use Sazneo. During weeks 2-5 a further 50 companies joined organically. Sazneo have now successfully finished their beta programme with hundreds of companies now using the service. Sazneo have also successfully raised funding on the back of such a successful beta programme and the fact that they have been enable to bill customers for the service so soon. Cobalt Storm now provides the technical backbone of their organisation with development and CTO as a service.
The Sazneo service is now a feature rich and exciting product entry into a growing industry space.
